Text Box: Want Cookies?

We still have 21 boxes of cookies remaining.  Would anyone be interested in buying an additional box or two to help us get rid of this stock?  We have:

5 boxes of Do-Si-Dos

1 box of Samoas

4 boxes of All Abouts

11 boxes of Café Cookies

This remaining stock represents $73.50 in profit for the troops. I’ll have the cookies at the meetings, please see me to purchase additional boxes.  Thanks for your help.

On Wednesday, June 14th, Chester Girl Scouts will be holding the annual Bridging and Court of Awards Ceremony.  It is very important that all the girls attend this ceremony.  Our 3rd grade Brownies will be crossing the Rainbow Bridge to Juniors and both troops will be performing on stage.  Please plan ahead so everyone can attend.

Text Box: Parent Helpers Needed

Friday, April 21st is our BIG Bronze Award Project.  The girls will be serving dinner for the Chester Fire and Police Departments and performing their play “Troop 13 to the Rescue” with the assistance of our 3rd grade Brownies.  We need some parents to volunteer to help us with this event.  If you’re available, please let us know.  The dinner starts at 6:30 PM at Chester Academy, but we’ll have a few hours of set-up and preparation to do before the event begins.  Thanks!

Text Box: Bronze Award Presentation Ceremony

Once all the Juniors have completed the requirements for the Bronze Award, we will be holding an award presentation night.  It will take place on a Friday night, probably in May.  The girls have been working towards this night since September and they’ve done a great job.  Anya and I are very proud of their accomplishments.  If our 3rd grade Brownies are available on this evening, we can use their help.  We will let you know the date as soon as it is confirmed.

Text Box: Early Re-Registration

Early Re-Registration has been an option available to all troops in Swift Water council for several years.  However, until this year Chester did not opt to participate.  Our Registration forms for next school year will be going home on April 17th and need to be returned to Nancy by May 1st.  If your daughter will be in one of our troops again next year, please sign and return the form.  If you are unsure if she will participate or know that she will not, please return the form unsigned. In any case, please return ALL registration forms to me by May 1st.

By participating in Early Re-Registration, we will be invited to a fun and free event held by Swift Water in the fall.
