Cookie information was handed out to Leaders and Cookie Managers. The sale starts on Jan 6th and runs until January 29th. Jodie is our town Cookie Manager again this year. Contact her if you have questions. Jodie is going to check with Amber to see if we can use her barn again this year for the delivery. Delivery date is March 10th or 11th.

We discussed what we are going to do about a town cookie sale. The Home Show falls on the same weekend as the Cookie delivery, the School District Meeting and the Destination Imagination performance. Many Brownie leaders will have a difficult time making the Home Show on Saturday.

It was decided that we would try to have 1 brownie troop and 1 junior troop sell on Saturday and have 2 or 3 brownie troops take time slots on Sunday. We don't want to give up the home show because once we let it go, it's gone. We did very well at the Chester Fair so we don't have to sell as many boxes as we did in previous years. We need to make approximately $300 in profit to cover the cost of the Camporee, our Financial Assistance fund and have enough to purchase supplies for next year's Chester Fair Midway. We would need to sell a minimum of 45 cases of cookies. (which is half the number of cookies we usually sell). We would like all the Brownies to feel like they've contributed to their own Camporee.

We discussed the "It's A Girl Thing" event coming up on Sunday, December 4th. We have over 50 Daisy/Brownie girls signed up to attend. We have about 40 Junior/Cadette girls who will be helping. Please have helpers arrive around noon to set-up and learn their station. Leaders, please bring a batch or 2 of brownies for snacks.

We briefly discussed Camporee. Next month we will talk more about it. Try to have a rough idea of how many girls will be attending so we can work together on site assignments.

Nancy still hasn't heard back from Gym-Ken on the cost and how many girls can come on the sleep-over. I will try again to contact them for a firm answer.

We discussed the date for the Court of Awards Ceremony. We would like it to be after Camporee but before school gets out. It would have to be the week of June 12 - 16. The weekend of June 16 -18 is Graduations and Father's Day. It was decided that we would try for June 14th, which is scheduled to be the last day of School. June 15th is Class night. Nancy will call the Rec department to get the OK.

Council is closed from December 24th - January 2. Offices will reopen on Jan 3rd but the store is closed until January 9th for Inventory.
