Summer Event
Campfire on August 24th at Wason Pond. Cub Scouts will also participate. This will be a recruiting event and also fun for current members. Leaders bring s’more fixings for your troop and a little extra to share. (cub scouts will also bring their own)
The
Leaders voted to have each troop to have their own adults who will supervise their time slot and handle money boxes instead of just coordinators who stay all day. We will need 1 adult at entrance, 1 adult at face painting/tattoos, 1 adult at jail, 1 adult at gift table and 1 adult at craft area.
We decided to get 2 sites so we have more room. We will move face painting outside flag area and add a craft. Corinna suggested decorating backpacks.
We would like to borrow as many “Easy-Up” canopies as possible to keep the girls out of the direct sun.
Time for Midway will be noon to 5:00 PM. We will need all Juniors and up to help. Debbie B. volunteered to do set-up.
We have 5 Junior troops, 2 Cadette troops and 1 Senior troop. We need about 15 people per time slot, so troops can double up.
Recruiting Night
Tentatively set for
Friday, September 14th with the Cub Scouts. A leader from each
troop who has openings should plan on attending. Please let
