95th Birthday of Girl Scouts

Please email me the total number of girls attending no later than Monday, Feb.5th.  Don’t forget to practice the song “In a Circle, Light a Candle” with the girls.

Katie G. volunteered to bake the birthday cake.  We will not collect payment from the troops until after the event so we only pay the actual cost.

Sleep-Under

This babysitting night will take place at Chester Academy on Saturday, March 24th during the PTA Adult Dance and Silent Auction.  We are waiting to hear from Jodie on the time the dance will be ending.  It starts at 7 PM.

Items we decided on:

  • Age:  Kindergarten through 4th grade.
  • Food: Snacks only (goldfish, pretzels, popcorn, etc.) some leaders volunteered to bring in some snacks
  • Drinks:  Water bottles
  • Cost:  $20 1 child, $40 2 children, $55 3 children, $60 for 4 or more children
  • Games:  Leaders will bring in some games for the kids to play.  If you have some you’d like to contribute, please bring them that night.
  • We will show 2 movies.  One for K through 2nd grade, One for 3rd & 4th graders.
  • We will need a minimum of 11 adults per Safety Wise for up to 50 kids plus 10 helpers (one adult per troop?) and we’d like no more than 10 Juniors/Cadettes who are in 5th grade and up to help and play with the kids.
  • We may make exceptions for kids who are nearly 5 or over 4th grade if we have requests.
  • Adults need to arrive by 6:30.  We will allow kids to be dropped off by 6:45.

I have purchased Girl Scout non-member insurance so we are covered for up to 45 non-members attending that night. ($5)
