Cookie Sale 2004

Get Going Girlfriend!

General Information

PATCHES
This year, each group will be required to complete the Participation Program which was included in the Leader's Packets in the Fall. They must fill out the evaluation and give it to the Delivery Manager with their ORIGINAL paperwork. The Delivery Manager will compile these and send them to the Service Center as a group by February 11, 2004. If a group would like to receive a Gift of Caring Patch or is entering the Booth Sale Photo Contest these forms (also included in the Leader's Packets) must be turned in directly to the Service Center by April 1, 2004.

TRANSFERRING COOKIES
If a group realizes there are cookies they may not sell on time and they would like to transfer some to another consenting group the groups MUST complete the Cookie Transfer form (in Delivery Manager training packet and Cookie Team Handbook). Only one form should be completed for each transaction. The form should be attached to the T-2 form of the group receiving the cookies. That group is then responsible for paying for those cookies on time.

COOKIE DOUGH POLICY
Summary sheets will be pre-printed from our membership database at the service center during February and mailed to Delivery Managers. If a girl's name has been omitted from the sheet, proof of registration will have to be submitted. Cookie Dough will once again be mailed directly to the girl's home. Parents need to understand that the actual Cookie Dough certificate must be sent in with camp payments.

Cookie Dough will be mailed to the girls' home at the end of April. Every girl selling at least 50 packages of cookies will receive Cookie Dough, but only when the group's bill has been paid in full. If the group has an outstanding balance the Cookie Dough will be withheld. If an alert form has been filled out for a specific girl's balance, her Cookie Dough will be withheld. Finally, if a girl is receiving campership her Cookie Dough will remain at the service center and be applied directly to her camp bill. Make sure parents are aware of all of these factors and that they provide council with the appropriate mailing address for Cookie Dough.

Complete the three-part NCR deposit slip. DEPOSIT SLIPS MUST HAVE THE GROUP NUMBER-THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOUR GROUP CAN BE PROPERLY CREDITED.
Carefully count money and coins and endorse all of the checks.
The teller will validate the pink and yellow copies of your deposit slips and give them to you with a bank receipt.
Give the validated pink and yellow copies of your deposit slips (make sure the group number can be seen on each) to your Delivery Manager. KEEP THE BANK RECEIPT FOR YOUR RECORDS.

Helpful Hints:
Avoid busy or rush hour times.
Double check your receipt and be sure to have your deposit slips validated.
Make sure amount of money deposited matches the total on the deposit slip.
DO NOT include your group profit.
To save time, endorse each check before you go to the bank with the Swift Water Account number and GSSWC.

Remember!
You MUST send either the money for the groups under your jurisdiction or BOTH copies of the validated deposit slips with the appropriate group number written clearly on each slip. Attach both (pink and yellow) copies of the deposit slips to the appropriate T-2 form with one staple. This is ALL you need to attach to page 4 of the T-2 for each group. If you do not have the full payment from a group-you MUST attach an Alert Form to the T-2.
