Summer 2003 Activities!

Year End Party!

Troop 222 is finishing off the year with a bang! We're having a year-end party filled with crafts, a barbeque lunch and fun activities. Some of our activities will include painting and decorating hats, potato sack races, face painting and more! Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served for lunch with "make your own" sundaes for dessert. We'll be paying for the food and supplies from our troop funds, so please return the attached activity sign-up form so we will purchase the right amount of supplies. See you there!

BOWLING!

We will be going Bowling and having a pizza party at Lakeside Lanes in Manchester on July 19th from 11:00 to 12:45 pm. Family members are welcome to attend. We’ve reserved 3 lanes and the party room!

Please return the Activity Sign-Up Sheet and payment by July 7th to Nancy. The cost is $7 per person.

We will meet at the Chester Academy parking lot at 10:15. Please meet us back at Chester Academy at 1:15 for pick up.

Charmingfare Farm

We will visiting Charmingfare Farm in Candia on August 16th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. We will be visiting the animal exhibits, going on a hay ride and having a picnic. The cost of this activity is $8.50 per person. Family is welcome to attend.

Please return the activity sign-up sheet and payment by August 4th to Nancy, or bring them to our Bowling trip in July.

We will meet at Chester Academy parking lot at 10:15 so we can be at Charmingfare for 11:00. Please send a bag lunch. Please meet us back at Chester Academy for pick up at 3:30.

During this field trip we will also be filling one of the requirements of our first Try-it of the 2003-2004 school year. It is called "animals" and one of the activities is to visit a nature center or zoo.
