Bridging to Brownie Girl Scouts

When a girl has completed Daisy Girl Scouts and is finishing First Grade, she is ready to Bridge to Brownie girl scouts. The activities involved in Bridging were created to help her understand the next level of Girl Scouts. At the end of her Daisy years, she works with a Brownie Troop to get ready to become a Brownie Girl Scout. (Brownie Girl Scouts is for girls in 2nd and 3rd grade)

She needs to complete these four steps to earn her Bridging Rainbow Patch.

1. Learn about Brownie Girl Scouts. Look through the Brownie books, find out what the Brownie uniform looks like, etc.

2. Do a Brownie Girl Scout Activity. Complete an activity from one of the Brownie books.

3. Work with a Brownie Troop. Attend a Brownie troop meeting or go on a field trip with a Brownie troop

4. Participate in the Bridging ceremony. This can include making invitations, performing and/or making decorations for the event.
