This year we'll be having 2 booth sales to sell Girl Scout Cookies. One sale will benefit the troop. It will pay for the food and supplies for Camporee as well as our Scrapbooks and, if we earn enough, will allow us to have a special year-end trip to Canobie Lake Park! The girls voted on this as their goal for the sale! The second sale will pay for all the Chester Girl Scouts to go to our Camporee in May. It costs us over $600 to rent a Girl Scout camp for a weekend!
The troop sale is being held on March 6 & 7 at Shaws in Derry. I'd like to set up 2 three-hour shifts on each day, if possible. We'll need 1 or 2 adults to volunteer along with the girls to supervise the table. We'll be starting at 10 am and running until 4 pm on each day.
The Town sale will be held the weekend of March 12 to 14 at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester at the Home Builders Association Home Show. We've been assigned March 14th from 10 to 1. There are 2 tables situated in different locations throughout the Show. If we have enough volunteers we'll be able to man (or "girl") both tables. If not, one table will have to close during our shift.
Please fill out the form below to let me know what dates you are available for. Please return the form even if you are unable to volunteer. If you can do the Shaws sale and the Home Show sale, that would be wonderful! You get free admission to the Home Show when you volunteer! Feel free to stay after our shift to browse around. Your daughter will get Cookie Dough credits for volunteering for these booth sales. We will combine the total sold at our booth sales with the amount credited to us by the town and divide it by the total number of girls who participate. You should earn a minimum of 40 additioanl boxes for volunteering for one of these sales! Cookie Dough can be used at a Swift Water Girl Scout Camp as well as at the Swift Water Girl Scout Store.
Please volunteer if you can! It will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
