Tree Lighting & Christmas Caroling

Please join us!  The Town Tree Lighting will take place this Sunday, December 14th at 5:00 pm.  We are one of 6 Girl Scout Troops who have been asked to supply snacks for the gathering after the festivities.  (the other 6 troops baked for the Veteran's Day gathering).  Please meet at the Chester Congregational Church Vestry between 4:30 and 4:45 with your baked good so we can get everything set-up.  After the tree is lit, we'll be singing Christmas carols then crossing the street to the gathering.  The event should be over between 6 and 6:30 pm.  If you can't make it but can still supply a baked good, it can be dropped off at Cindy McLaughlin's home before 4 pm on that day.  Call if you have questions.

Just a reminder that when school has been cancelled in Chester, our meetings are also cancelled.  No make-up dues will be collected for cancelled meetings.  If the weather starts to get bad during the day and we feel it would be best to cancel a meeting, you will receive a phone call and an email letting you know.  If you'd like to give me an alternate phone number or email address for these notices, please let me know.

Dues

Every three months I'll be sending home notices letting you know if your daughter is behind on her dues.  I know it's easy to forget to send in make-up dues for missed meetings, so this will just serve as a reminder to you.  If you don't have a notice attached to this newsletter, this means your daughter is up-to-date.  If you'd like to send in a check for back dues, please make it payable to "GSSWC Troop 222".

THERE WILL BE NO MEETING ON DECEMBER 29TH DURING CHRISTMAS BREAK.
