Chester Girl Scouts will be holding a Bon Fire at Wason Pond on Saturday, October 30th at 6pm.  Come join us for this fun event.  We'll be singing songs and showing our Girl Scout spirit!  Each girl is asked to bring one split log to add to the fire.  Please dress warm and bring chairs or blankets to sit on.  This is a family event, everyone is welcome! Hope to see you there!  In the event of rain, the fire will be cancelled.

Both Troops will be marching in the Veteran's Day Parade on Thursday, November 11th.  Please have your daughter at the town office complex by 10:45 to line up.  If your daughter is a Brownie, please bring a baked good to the Fire Department by 10:30 for set-up.  Once the speech in front of the Post Office is over, everyone is welcome to gather at the Fire Department for refreshments.  Please have your daughter wear her Vest over a warm coat. 

October 31st is the birthday of Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low.  She is the founder of Girl Scouts in the USA!  She was born on October 31, 1860 in Savannah, GA.  She started Girl Scouts here over 92 years ago!
