Starting next week, September 29th, our meetings will be moving to the new Chester Community Center.  This is part of the Wason Pond Conservation and Recreation Area.   I'm very happy to be making this change!  The new Community Center will be much more cozy and welcoming for all of us.  Call for directions.

We're looking for old table cloths, sheets or other large cloths that can be used as drop cloths.  The  Chester Community Center has brand new rugs and tables and has requested that when we're doing craft projects we use drop cloths to keep them in good condition.  If you have any items you can spare, please send them in to our next meeting.   THANKS!   We'll also be organizing a fall clean-up day at the Community Center to thank them for allowing us to use this building at no charge.  More info on this soon.

The date for this year's Investiture/Rededication Ceremony has been set for Friday November 14th in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Town Hall.  The Leaders in town got together and "revamped" the ceremony to follow more closely to what Girl Scouts of the USA has outlined for us.  It will be a meaningful ceremony for both the new girls entering Girl Scouts for the first time and the ones who will be rededicated to the Girl Scout Promise and Law.  All new Girl Scouts will receive their official membership Pin and Tab at this ceremony.  We'll be working on teaching the Promise and Law to our new members over the next several weeks.  Please make plans to attend.
