Meetings Next School Year

Thanks to everyone for filling out the Parent Survey forms.  Our meetings, starting in September, will be held on Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.  There were a few girls who had conflicts on Thursdays with other activities and the only other weekday I'm available is Monday.  If your daughter is NOT AVAILABLE on Monday during the school year, please give me a call.   The meetings will be held either at my house or at Steven's Memorial Hall (old town hall).  There were problems with other troop meetings at Steven's this year so I'll be looking into it.  We have 9 members of this year's troop who will be returning.   If your daughter is in the after-school program at the Children's Exploratiorium, the school will be continuing its sponsorship of our troop by transporting the after-schoolers with the Fun Bus to our meeting location!  Parents will only be responsible for pick-up at 5:30.  BIG THANKS to our WONDERFUL MISS LAUREN for offering this service!  Anya Bent and Cheryl Batjer have volunteered to help out on Monday afternoons (THANKS SO MUCH!).  If anyone else would like to volunteer, please give me a call.

Schedule of Events

We will finish out this school year at the Exploratorium (thanks Miss Lauren!) Meetings will be every Tuesday in May and the first 2 Tuesdays of June.  June 10th will be our last meeting of the year.  The Town Court of Awards ceremony is June 6th at 7:00 pm at the MPR.  We will have a year-end "Fun Day" on June 28th at my house.  There will be crafts, games and a cookout for lunch.  The girls will even get a fun patch for attending!   More details  on upcoming events soon.  You can also check the calendar page for more info.
