Important--Camporee

This years Camporee is coming fast and we need to know who will be joining us.  Parents are welcome to come  (Dads need to bring their own tent).  This is a town event for Chester and they are asking for a final count so they know how much space we will require.  We are going to Camp Farnsworth in Thetford, VT on May 30, 31 and June 1.  If you want to take a look at the Camp's website, it is at:

Please let me know if your daughter will be joining us at this year's Camporee.  I'd like to give a final answer by the end of the week.

Corinne has decided she will not be able to continue as Assistant Leader for our Troop.  I have had a few parents volunteer to help out at meetings only if we hold them on Saturday mornings.  I can't legally hold a Girl Scout meeting without 2 adults present.  If you would like to volunteer to attend Saturday or Thursday meetings, please give me a call.   From the Parent Surveys I have received so far (many missing), we have had a few more votes for meetings to be held on Thursdays, but if we don't have any parents volunteer for that day, meetings will have to be held on Saturday mornings.   If we have several parents volunteer, we can arrange a schedule so parents can alternate weeks.  Your help will be greatly appreciated!

If you haven't returned the Parent Survey or Web Site Photo Permission Slip, please send them in to our next meeting.  You can find these forms at Survey and Web Photo Release if you've lost your copy.  I'm still missing quite a few of these forms. Thanks!

Our next meetings are scheduled for April 22nd and May 6th.  No meeting during Spring School Vacation.
