This year's Camporee will take place on May 30, 31 and June 1. We need to know immediately if your daughter wants to attend. Please email Nancy or Lauren. We have a town leader meeting later this week when we will finalize the plans for the event. Our town SUM will be joining us at a meeting next month to refresh the girls on packing, menus, and making a box oven. This trip will be a fun time they will never forget!

If your daughter signed up for the trip to the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium on Saturday, April 26th, you will find a permission slip attached to this newsletter. Please fill it out and send it in, along with the $5 fee to our next meeting. We will meet at the Center at 3:00 pm for Pizza and then take the Fun Bus to the event. Shoot for the Stars is from 5:30 to 9:30 pm. We will be joining other Brownies from around the state for a great evening of space discovery. Please have your daughter wear her Brownie vest!

We have several members that are behind on their weekly dues. You will find a slip attached to the newsletter letting you know how much your daughter still owes. Membership dues pay for supplies, patches and more. If you don't get a notice, your daughter's payments are up to date. It would be very helpful if back payments, field trip payments or other money sent in other than the $2 meeting dues could be put in an envelope marked with your daughter's name and what the payment is for. Thanks!

Miss Corinne brought in Creative Memories scrapbooking albums to each of the girls at a cost to her of $18 each. In order to ease that financial burden, we are asking parents to please send in some money to help pay for these albums. We also need more photos in order to finish them. Please send them in to our next meeting. You will get them back in the album when it is complete.

I would like to keep the girls together and active in Girl Scouting through the summer. I have a few ideas that I will discuss with the girls to make plans. We will not have meetings in July and August, but I'd like to do things like have a cookout party, hike at the Audubon Center in Auburn, bike ride, etc. We will only do one activity each month. It should be fun!

IMPORTANT! Everyone should have received a copy of our Parent Survey at our last meeting or in the mail. If you haven't turned it in yet, please fill out and submit the online form. We can't make plans until we know who will be with us and when parents would like the meetings to be held. Please make use of our new website.

Caitlin H. has decided to Fly Up to Junior Girl Scouts and also to earn her "Bridge to Junior GS" patch. We are SO proud of you, Caitlin!
If your daughter is in 3rd grade and would like to be a Junior next year, please let us know.
