Hello Scouts and Parents,

I hope that everyone is staying as warm as possible. It sure has been a cold year so far. Next Tuesday, February 4th ... we will not meet for Brownies. We will meet every other Tuesday for a few months. I expect to go back to our regular schedule in April. I hope that this does not inconvenience anyone. I did not hear any complaints since last week's newsletter, so this will start next week. Thanks... I need this time to manage other business.

Brownie schedule will be as follows:

Meeting 4:30 February 11, 2003
Visit Elderly Home February 15, 2003
Meeting 4:30 March 4, 2003
Meeting 4:30 March 11, 2003
Monarch's Game March 23, 2003
Meeting 4:30 March 25, 2003

Please note that there are many tickets left for the Monarch's Game on Sunday March 23rd. They are $9 each and we will be sent 20 children's seats and 10 adult seat tickets. Please reserve tickets now. If I do not have many reservations in the next week, I will sell them to anyone. We paid in advance and the troop needs the money back. Please contact me as soon as possible if you/and/or your child is going. It is a lot of fun.

We will probably be visiting a nursing home instead of a children's hospital as previously planned. I don't want to drive to Boston in these temperatures and deal with parking too. It would be better to stay in our own community and visit a nursing home that doesn't get many visitors. The local hospitals do not have very many children registered... thank God. I will keep you informed and will finalize all details next week.

All cookie orders are past due... if I do not have them now! Please bring them into the Children's Exploratorium and give them to Miss Sally ASAP. This week is the deadline. We are tallying them now. Thanks for getting all those cookie orders!
