Effective Jan. 1, 2004, NH's law for automobile passenger restraints changed. Children up to 6 years of age or less than 55 inches in height will be required to ride in an approved child seat (infant/toddler or booster). Because of this change, any child who is less than 55" tall will need to supply a booster seat when traveling with a chaperone on one of our field trips. Click HERE to visit the NH State Website to view the revised NH RSA. More info can also be found at Saferoads.org. The child automobile passenger restraint law also changed in Vermont requiring the use of an approved safety seat for all children up to age 8. If we travel to Swift Water Camp Farnsworth in Vermont, this law will have to be followed. Thanks!
